Lock 32 roost

  

02 September 02: While we were at Lock 32 State Canal Park, I took this pic of a tour boat crew member who was roosting, but not a rooster, so to speak. She had turned a working bollard into a workerlike substitute for a chair. Her trusty boat hook lies at hand, ready for the work she returned to after only a minute or two or rest. I suppose that bollards and buttocks have been paired from the beginning, but I see it as ironical all the same.
